Freeze-Dried Mango

Mango is an exotic fruit, whose properties and nutritional value were appreciated as early as 4,000 years ago in India. It arrived in Europe in the 16th century, but it is relatively recent that it has been proven that mangoes can prevent the development of certain illnesses as well as lower blood sugar and cholesterol levels. Mango juice is also said to relieve sore throats.

Fully ripened mangoes have orange-yellow, sweet, very juicy and dense flesh that literally melts in your mouth.

Thanks to the lyophilization(freeze-drying) process, freeze-dried mangoes do not lose the properties of the fresh product- the shape, colour, vitamins and all the nutritional values are retained.  Freeze-dried food is dehydrated by removing between 70% and 96% of the water, which stops the growth of microorganisms and reduces enzymatic processes, effectively protecting the products from spoiling.

Freeze dried fruits can be consumed raw or cooked and it is enough to add water to them and then they regain their natural freshness. Freeze-dried products can be eaten dry as natural chips, added to desserts, smoothies, all kind of baked products as well as hot and cold meals.
